The Miamisburg Mound is the largest conical burial mound in Ohio and possibly the eastern United States. Archeological evidence suggests it was constructed by the Adena Indians between 800 BC and 100 AD. The mound spans 877 feet and was originally 70 feet tall. The Miamisburg Mound Park encompasses 37 acres and features picnic tables and a playground.
